About Us

Most searches start without a clear view of the talent landscape.

They rely on black books, LinkedIn filters, or outdated CVs and call it the market. Longlisted is here to fix that.

Longlisted combines AI-driven insight with expert human judgement to map the entire addressable talent pool for your role - whether you’re hiring now or planning ahead.

You’ll know exactly who’s out there and everything there is to know about them, so you can act with confidence, not guesswork.

Unlike traditional executive search firms, we don’t take weeks to deliver in order to charge bloated fees. And unlike AI-only tools, we understand that humans hire humans: nuance, context, and fit still matter.

Whether it’s solving an urgent hiring headache or futureproofing your leadership pipeline, Longlisted gives you the full picture.

Know the market. Own the decision.

Hi, I'm Ed!

I spent years working at top executive search firms in the UK, researching for senior, specialist and board-level roles. I saw what good research looked like - meticulous, inquisitive and thoughtful. But I also saw a sector completely stuck in the past. Too slow. Too expensive. Too reliant on the same old networks and still using technology from decades ago.

Meanwhile, I was diving deep into AI - building tools, testing workflows and seeing how fast things were changing. I could see the level of potential from early-on. As I saw more and more AI tools hitting the market, I found myself thinking we need an approach that embraces both human instinct and AI insight, not one or the other.

That’s why I built Longlisted.

We’re still a new business, but from the incredible support we’ve had already, it’s clear that there’s demand for a fresh approach to search.

The world of work is changing faster than ever and we are here to meet that shift head-on. Longlisted is our way of helping hiring teams, founders, and search partners make better decisions, with more clarity and far less noise.

Thanks for being part of the journey.
